Leeds Beckett Creative Arts Building

This brand new 8 storey building in the centre of Leeds houses Leeds Beckett Universities new Creative Arts hub. Studio People's role included full design & build responsibility, all M&E and custom technical furniture. Our scheme comprised of a commercial studio within the basement housing a double height live space with custom variable acoustics, an anechoic chamber and reverb chamber. On the 4th Floor 15 Ensemble Studios, and up on the 5th Floor, 2 x Post Production studios, Mastering/Ambisonic room, 6 x Music Control Rooms, 2 x Live Rooms and 6 x Booths. An extensive cabling infrastructure covers many room linked possibilities for HE students. Studio People delivered the full AV technical supply and installation following completion of the build in Autumn 2020.
