Bringing your studio design to life.
Our construction teams include builders, carpenters, shop fitters, cabinet makers, plasterers, decorators, electricians and of course electronic engineers!
We carry out all site works with our own specialised team so all design drawings are followed to the letter. This way we can guarantee our quoted isolation and reverberation response figures.
As building a studio is not your ‘normal' office construction, we take great care in selecting, managing and training our many teams to ensure they can work to the high standard that we expect on all projects – regardless of size or cost. On day one, you will be introduced to your site manager who will remain on the project for the duration and during the whole project you will have close contact with our Managing Director, Peter Keeling, Contracts Director, Jamie Keeling, and Design Coordinator, Chris Smout – giving you a great personal experience throughout.
We use our own in house electrical and mechanical team to install air-conditioning, ventilation and all power and data. This is managed closely by our M&E Manager, Chris Campbell, who undertakes regular site visits to ensure our rigorous standards are met.
Apart from using our own specialised team onsite, we have an experienced workshop at our base where we manufacture almost everything you will find in your finished studio. Carefully working with the design team, the high performance acoustic doors, custom built workstations, diffusers, acoustic panels and much more are designed and manufactured all in house.
We want every project we do to look and sound great and how you imagine it to be. To ensure we can achieve this, our quality control is very important. Every item that leaves our workshop is checked over by our quality control team, and all onsite works are checked by our Contracts Manager, and if something is not up to our standard, it will be corrected!
We strive to ensure we work in a safe manner, for your safety of everyone onsite. All site operatives hold CSCS cards and are trained regularly on all equipment used. Our Contracts Director will make regular site visits to ensure all our health and safety requirements are being met.
The first thing to go up is the walls
Next is the ceiling
Then down to the floors
Moving onto the finishes
And the all important acoustic treatments!
During the project all the HVAC is being installed
And the audio
