Studio 7 in Powys, Mid Wales...a new Commercial Recording facility designed, constructed and fully equipped by us during the Summer. The studio features a 5.1 ready Control Room, Booth area and Live Room with variable acoustics.
Separate A/C is provided for each main room and the core system is based around an SSL AWS900+ console with Protools 9 HD3 with 24 in/out. Finishes were in Oak and works completed October 2011.

The 10sqm Live Room is designed for a creative mood and has 48 lines to the Control Room. The acoustic wave provides an excellent backing for live drums.

The Live Room has plenty of natural light with good visual to the Booth area

Control Room monitoring is Genelec 1037 and KRK Rokit5s. The camera and HD screen provides visual links to future remote Live Areas. Mood lighting comes from a 4 scene Lutron controller with LED fittings.

Keyboard playing area, comfortable seating and daylight make this a very creative room to work in. The workstation is from our custom 'modular' range.

View into the Control Room from the Live Area..isolation between the rooms is very high due to the large distance between the acoustic panes (we had to built around an electricity meter unit!)

Soundlock Lobby doubles as a Booth area with acoustic ceiling tiles, plenty of daylight and plush carpeting.
