clients / bucks new university

Bucks New University, studio areas within the new LRC building constructed by BAM Construction.
Our contract involved design and installation of several areas on Ground and 1st Floors of this
landmark building in the centre of High Wycombe. Specifically 3x5.1 Music Control Rooms, 2xlarge Live areas,
4xMusic Booths, Green Room, 3x Music Programming Rooms, 3xVideo Edit Rooms, 3xlarge Music and Video Editing classrooms, 2xVideo Studios and a large Drama Studio. Apart from the construction works, we installed custom Technical
furniture and carried out an extensive Technical Installation.
The project was carried out over a 9 month period and completed in September 2009.

Music Control Room 1 is fully configured for 5.1 using Genelec digital monitoring and
Digidesign HD3 with D-Command control surface.

Music Control Room 2 is a huge space with Genelec 5.1 monitoring, C24 control surface and
excellent visual links to recording areas. Wood finishes are all American White Oak.

Music Control Room 2 with dimmable lighting and flexible audio/video/fibre patching.

Music Live Room 2 is a large recording area for up to 20 musicians

Music Live Room 1 is the largest recording area configured as an L shape with 2 distinct acoustic spaces with
triple glazed windows to 2 Control Rooms and 2 x Booths

The Music area Green Room provides a large and very comfortable chill area for
busy students to relax.
