Peter started his Audio Electronics business way back in 1978 manufacturing everything from 2" tape recorders to PA equipment based in the beautiful county of Shropshire. The early 90s saw recession and rapid growth in digital recording so, with a keen interest in construction and acoustics, Peter undertook his 1st private studio project 1993 for Nick Murphy, Bassheads. That worked out well and quickly led to many more Studio design and Build projects both UK and overseas.
Today he manages a 30+ team of designers, engineers and builders alongside wife Wendi and sons, Jamie and Joe. His passion for electronics and music means the company can provide a real turnkey solution to most Studio projects. With extensive travelling a key requirement when visiting clients, Peter flies himself (and sometimes staff) to sites in the company aircraft based at Welshpool...so aviation is another passion of his and blends perfectly with the day to day role he has within the business.

Wendi joined the Company in 1979 to look after the financial side of the business. She loves music, art, cooking and animals.
Josef has been with The Studio People since late 2007 where he started off his employment working up and down the country at various projects. Josef now heads up the companies Operations and Project Management departments. Josef is a certified Prince2 Practitioner.
After joining the company, Chris was put to work on drafting custom furniture designs and went on to draft designs for new projects. Using his understanding of acoustics Chris was able to test the specifications of projects we had completed as the final stage of the design and build process. Since joining the organisation in 2007 Chris has taken on the roll of liaising closely with clients to ensure their dreams become reality. When not in meetings or in the office you can find Chris playing with his band and working on new material. Chris is a member of the Institute of Acoustics.
John joined the company in 2014 and brings much experience in Pro-Audio products and projects. Graduating from LIPA in 2005, he has since worked in support, sales and education markets and has carried out numerous technical installs for TSP and other studio projects around the UK. John manages our Product and Technical works. Interests outside of TSP include F1, music and computers. John is a member of the AES and a Certified ProTools User.
Martin joined us in 2015, following an 18 year career in the construction industry, initially site based and then joining an architectural practice. Martin is now responsible for managing the design process and the design team, creating production drawing packages for client and site issue. When not in the office, Martin can be found working on and riding his motorbike.
Jodie joined our Finance Department as an Administrator in March 2011. She graduated from Glyndwr University with her Degree in 2009 before starting her career in Finance. Outside of work she enjoys reading, cooking and walking her dog Ned.
Kymberley joined the company in 2015 in our purchasing department. Her roles in the company include developing systems to ensure our site teams have materials on time, and at the right price. Kymberley is currently working towards her degree in purchasing and procurement.
Jason is a former House Engineer at Monnow Valley and Rockfield Studios. Along with this Jason was self employed as Producer and Engineer to many national and international artists. Citing Black Sabbath and Ozzy Osbourne as a personal favourite and the worst being....one for the memoirs. From this Jason moved into Lecturing Music Technology at GCSE, A-Level and Undergraduate levels supporting and guiding the next generation of producers, engineers and music technology practitioners. Achieving top line success in this field is something Jason has earned and can attest from gaining a single GCSE when he left school to recently completing a Masters in Business Administration alongside a multitude of higher level management qualifications. These unique experiences have forged the necessary skills of self-reliance and management and more importantly understanding the needs of client expectations when it comes to the technicalities of recording and studio development. His other interests lie in mentoring professionals, strategic governance in education and personal development through sporting activities. A passion for allowing others to experience what he has achieved is what drives Jason to support the many varied skills, people and circumstances that his role as Project Manager for The Studio People entails.
Andy joined us in 2012 coming from a background in traditional joinery and having worked in many workshops on door, cabinet, sash window and furniture manufacturing. Andy is responsible for running the workshop team, ensuring our products leave to our expected finish and quality. When not at work Andy enjoys running and keeping fit.
